We did it!

The road trip is definitely on! Have decided to bring it forward to the start of March so a lot to get sorted out.
I finished work this week after nine years with the same company. Seems like a window of opportunity to do something different. Olly starts school in September so we are thinking about a family road trip adventure later in the year! Possibly hiring an RV and going round the USA (or at least a bit of it). Loads of stuff to think about but the planning should be fun!
SaturdayCharlotte and Olly went on the pre-school float (and helped to build it). The theme was “Aliens Love Underpants”. Jim and Toby watched the procession (mainly from outside the Hog with Andy). Fun fair in the evening and another cracking day.
Saturday 13th August we hosted a party at home for Charlotte’s birthday. Gazebo back out, bouncy castle hired, loads of booze and food and tons of family and friends. A fantastic day and in the evening Uncle Ian organized a drunken drawing game.
A lovely couple of days. Mum, Dad, Warren and Charlie came round on Saturday. We sampled a few beverages under the new gazebo. On Sunday all the kids came round for a bun fight, then we went off to Sherston in the afternoon for the Duck Race!
The roundabout was one of the driest places there.
